define mindfulness and understand its diverse definitions;
explain the benefits and potential benefits of mindfulness practices and mindfulness-integrative treatment;
practice mindfulness and mindfulness-integrative experiences;
understand related techniques such as relaxation training and how they differ from mindfulness practice;
describe the roots of mindfulness in contemporary culture and psychotherapy;
The relationship of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy in theory and practice
be familiar with specific applications of mindfulness integrated into clinical approaches such as mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and be able to select and study specific approaches based on his or her specialization or caseload;
state the specific problems that mindfulness is being applied to and some of the ways this is being carried out;
